Dalwhinnie (Highlands)
The 15 year old Malt - light and aromatic with a soft heather honey finish.
The gentle rich body.
Talisker (Isle
of Skye)
The famous golden spirit praised by Robert Louis Stevenson. A 10 year
old with pungent peaty guggedness. It explodes on the plate and lingers
on. A sweetish seaweeded aroma.
Cragganmore (Speyside)
A finaly balanced 12 year old with good firm body and smokey finish. A
pleasantly and delicate aroma.
Oban (West
Highlands)
A 14 year old rich and complex Malt with the merest suggestion of peat
in the aroma. Slightly smokey with a long smooth finish.
Lagavulin (Isle
of Islay)
A 16 year old with a firm robust body and powerful aroma. Seaweed, peat,
smoke and earth best describe this intensely dry Malt.
Glenkinchie (Lowlands)
This 10 year old has the distinction of being the driest and smokiest
of the typically soft and restrained Lowland Malts.
